Meet Brooki

Sharon "Brooki" Burgess, Owner

 

Sharon boasts over 15 years of experience in the baking industry. Her journey began at the age of 15 when she secured a position at a local bakery in Waco, TX, igniting her passion for baking. Inspired by the talented decorators she encountered, she honed her skills alongside the incredible people she worked with, blending her love for art into exquisite baked goods and desserts.

 

In 2017, she married her husband, James, and together they welcomed three boys: Wyatt, Leon, and Walker. After a brief hiatus from the industry to focus on being a stay-at-home mom, Sharon and James decided to take a leap of faith, leading to the establishment of Brooki Cakes & Creamery in April 2025!
